(Muhammad), recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying, "Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment," 41 (We commanded him): “Stamp your foot on earth, and here is cool water to wash with and to drink.” 42 And We granted to him his family and also the like of them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to people of understanding, 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 And remember Our slaves, Ibrahim (Abraham), Ishaque (Isaac), and Ya'qub (Jacob), (all) owners of strength (in worshipping Us) and (also) of religious understanding. 45 Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. 46 And most surely they were with Us, of the elect, the best. 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 gardens of perpetual bliss, with gates wide-open to them, 50 in which they will recline, and call for abundant fruit and drink therein. 51 ۞ They will have bashful wives of equal age with them. 52 This it is what you (Al-Muttaqun - the pious) are promised for the Day of Reckoning! 53 Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end; 54 This is so! And for the Taghun (transgressors, disobedient to Allah and His Messenger - disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, criminals, etc.), will be an evil final return (Fire), 55 Hell; which they shall enter; what an evil resting-place! 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 and other torments of the like kind coupled together. 58 Here is an army rushing blindly with you. (Those who are already in the Fire say): No word of welcome for them. Lo! they will roast at the Fire. 59 They will say to them, "You are not welcome! It was you who brought this on us, an evil place to stay," 60 They will say, "Our Lord, whoever brought this upon us - increase for him double punishment in the Fire." 61 And they say: What aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the wicked? 62 Did we laugh at them (for nothing), or our eyes fail to pick them out?" 63 Truly that is just and fitting,- the mutual recriminations of the People of the Fire! 64
