The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 When they were sitting near it 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 (But) for those who believe and do good works, for them there are Gardens underneath which rivers flow that is the Great Victory! 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 And He alone is truly-forgiving, all-embracing in His love, 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 although Allah surrounds them. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
