Verily those who disbelieve - they will be cried unto: surely Allah's abhorrence was greater than is your abhorrence toward yourselves when ye were called unto the belief, and ye disbelieved. 10 They say: "O Lord, twice You made us die, and twice You made us live. We admit our sins. Is there still a way out for us?" 11 (They will be told): “(The cause of your present state is that) when Allah alone was invoked, you disbelieved; and when others instead of Him were invoked, you believed. Today all judgement lies with Allah, the Most High, the All-Great.” 12 It is He who shows you His signs, and sends you food from the heavens. Yet none takes a warning except him who turns to Him. 13 Worship God and be devoted to His religion even though the disbelievers dislike this. 14 Exalter in ranks, Owner of the Throne. He lets the spirit (the revelation) descend at His order on those of His worshipers whom He chooses, in order that He warns of the Day of the Meeting; 15 The day when they will come out (of their graves), with nothing of them hidden from God. Whose then will be the kingdom? -- God's, the one, the omnipotent. 16 today each soul will be recompensed for that which it hath earned; no wrong-doing today; verily Allah is Swift at reckoning. 17 And warn them against the Day of the Imminent when, choking with anguish, the hearts are in the throats and the evildoers have not one loyal friend, no intercessor to be heeded. 18 He knows even the most stealthy glance of the eyes and all the secrets that hearts conceal. 19 And Allah judges with truth, while those to whom they invoke besides Him, cannot judge anything. Certainly, Allah! He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer. 20
