Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 for an appointed term? 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
