The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 by a burning fire 5 while they sat around it, 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. God is witness over all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
