The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
