Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
