Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the morning hours 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
