Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the white forenoon 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
