Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And exalted your fame? 4 Then verily along with every hardship is ease. 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8
Almighty Allah's Truth.
