The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8
