The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Is he not aware that when whatever lies (buried) in the graves is overthrown; 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
