The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
The Calamity! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
