The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
