Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die). 2 You shall know. 3 Nay! Nay! you shall soon know. 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)! 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the sight of certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
