Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 until you reach your graves. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 Surely ye shall behold the Scorch. 6 Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Hoarding (Al-Takaathur). Sent down in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
