Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
The craving for ever-greater worldly gains and to excel others in that regard keeps you occupied 1 Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die). 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 Ye shall certainly see Hell-Fire! 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then on that day you will surely be asked about the verity of pleasures. 8
