Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Have you considered him who calls the judgment a lie? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 and refuse charity. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
