Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 So woe to the praying ones, 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 who show off (his good deeds) 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
