Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 Neither his wealth nor his gains will avail him. 2 He shall soon burn in fire that flames, 3 His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel!- 4 with a rope of twisted fibre round her neck. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
