▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 51 In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two. 52 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 53 They will recline upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruits of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 59 Is there any reward for good other than good? 60 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 61 And besides these shall be two gardens -- 62 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 Pure ones confined to the pavilions. 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets. 76 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78
