And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 they, too, gave the lie to all Our messages: and thereupon We took them to task as only the Almighty, who determines all things, can take to task. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are indeed sunk in error and folly -- 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55
