Pray, “My Lord! If You show me the promise they are given,” 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 And the ones whose scales prove light – it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will answer: "We have spent there a day, or part of a day; but ask those who [are able to] count [time]" 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, forgive us and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful." 118
