The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 Which leaps up over the hearts, 7 It shall be made into a vault over them, 8 In extended columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
