The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Terror descends 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 (Many) will it bring low; (many) will it exalt; 3 When the earth is shaken 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 and will scatter abroad into fine dust. 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A numerous company from among the first, 13 And a few of later ages, 14 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 Youths of never-ending bloom will pass round to them 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Whereby there shall be neither headiness nor will they be inebriated. 19 And fruit of what they select 20 And flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And gorgeous eyed fair maidens. 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 Midst lote-trees thornless. 28 and clustered bananas, 29 And shade extended 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And plenty of fruits. 32 never-failing and never out of reach. 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation 35 And have made them virgins. 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 for those on the Right, 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
