The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 by the promised day, 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and believing women, and then do not repent, will surely suffer the punishment of Hell, and the torment of burning. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He alone is truly-forgiving, all-embracing in His love, 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial, 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 written on a preserved Tablet. 22
