Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Generous and recording, 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
