In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 when heaven shall be split 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 and place it in a secure place 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
