If they call you a liar, tell them, "Let each one of us follow his own way. You will not be responsible for what I do and I will not be responsible for what you do". 41 And of them are some who hearken unto thee, so canst thou make the deaf hear, even though they apprehend not? 42 And of them are some who look at thee, so canst thou guide the blind, even though they see not? 43 Verily, God does not do the least wrong unto men, but it is men who wrong themselves. 44 And on the Day when He shall gather (resurrect) them together, (it will be) as if they had not stayed (in the life of this world and graves, etc.) but an hour of a day. They will recognise each other. Ruined indeed will be those who denied the meeting with Allah, and were not guided. 45 Whether We let you see some of that with which We promised them, or We call you to Us, to Us they shall return. Allah is witness of the things they do. 46 For every people there is an apostle; and when their apostle is come the matter is decided between them equitably, and no one is wronged. 47 They say:'If what you promise is true, when will this threat be fulfilled?' 48 Say, "I possess not for myself any harm or benefit except what Allah should will. For every nation is a [specified] term. When their time has come, then they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]." 49 Say: Tell me if His punishment overtakes you by night or by day! what then is there of it that the guilty would hasten on? 50 What, when it has come to pass, will you then believe in it? Now, when already you seek to hasten it!' 51 Then it shall be said to those who were unjust: Taste abiding chastisement; you are not requited except for what you earned. 52 They enquire of you if this will really happen. Tell them, "Yes, by my Lord. Most certainly it will happen, and you cannot avert it." 53
