And [thereafter,] indeed, We assigned unto the children of Israel a most goodly abode, and provided for them sustenance out of the good things of life. And it was not until knowledge [of God's revelation] was vouchsafed to them that they began to hold divergent views: [but,] verily, thy Sustainer will judge between them on Resurrection Day regarding all on which they were wont to differ. 93 And if you, O listener, have any doubt in what We have sent down towards you, then question those who have read the Book before you; undoubtedly, towards you has come the truth from your Lord, therefore do not be of those who doubt. 94 And do not be one of those who deny the signs of God, or you will be among the losers. 95 Verily those against whom the word of your Lord is pronounced will never believe, 96 until they face the most painful torment. 97 And wherefore was there not a town which should believe so that their belief should have profited them but the people of Yunus? When they believed, We removed from them the chastisement of disgrace in this world's life and We gave them provision till a time. 98 If your Lord had willed, all the people on the earth would have come to believe, one and all. 99 Are you going to compel the people to believe except by God's dispensation? He puts doubt in (the minds of) those who do not think. 100 Say: 'Behold what is in the heavens and in the earth!' But neither signs nor warnings avail a people who do not believe. 101 So do they wait except for like [what occurred in] the days of those who passed on before them? Say, "Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait." 102 [For thus it always happens: We seal the doom of all who deny the truth and give the lie to Our messages;] and thereupon We save Our apostles and those who have attained to faith. Thus have We willed it upon Ourselves: We save all who believe [in Us,] 103
