The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ (Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it: Glory to Him, and far is He above having the partners they ascribe unto Him! 1 He sends the angels with revelation by His command, to any of His creatures as He please, (saying): "Warn that there is no god but I, so fear Me." 2 He created the heavens and the earth with the truth, highly exalted be He above what they associate (with Him). 3 He created man out of a [mere] drop of sperm: yet he shows himself to be openly contentious! 4 And the cattle! He hath created them. For you in them there is warmth and other profits and of them ye eat. 5 And wherein is beauty for you, when you bring them home in the evening, and as you lead them forth to pasture in the morning. 6 They carry your loads to a land which you could not otherwise reach except by painful toil to oneself. Your Lord is the Clement, the Most Merciful. 7 And (He made) horses and mules and asses that you might ride upon them and as an ornament; and He creates what you do not know. 8 To God leads the right path, though some deviate. If He willed He could guide you all to the right way. 9
