See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 That men should ascribe a son to the Most Gracious, 91 although it is inconceivable that the Most Gracious should take unto Himself a son! 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
