Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 [on that Day] none will have [the benefit of] intercession unless he has [in his lifetime] entered into a bond with the Most Gracious. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
