Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils. 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 So when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no ties of relationship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other. 101 Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful. 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
