Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.' 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
