Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 "In order that I may work righteousness in the things I neglected." - "By no means! It is but a word he says."- Before them is a Partition till the Day they are raised up. 100 And when the Horn is blown, on that Day their ties of kindred shall be no more, nor will they ask each other. 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 Our Lord, bring us forth out of it! Then, if we revert, we shall be evildoers indeed.' 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account." 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 Then high exalted be God, the King, the True! There is no god but He? the Lord of the noble Throne. 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
