۞ Say: 'I give you but one admonition, that you stand unto God, two by two and one by one, and then reflect: no madness is in your comrade. He is naught but a warner unto you, before a terrible chastisement.' 46 Say: Whatever reward I might have asked of you is yours. My reward is the affair of Allah only. He is Witness over all things. 47 Say to them, "My Lord hurls forth the Truth [at falsehood] and He is the knower of hidden things." 48 Say. 'Truth has come; falsehood originates not, nor brings again.' 49 Affirm, "If I am in error, I shall carry the burden thereof; and if I am rightly guided, it is because of what my Lord has revealed to me. Truly, He is all-hearing and near at hand." 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 They will then say: “We believe in it”; but whence can they attain it from so far-off a place? 52 Whereas they disbelieved therein afore, and conjectured about the unseen from a place so afar. 53 And they will be shut off from that which they will eagerly desire, as shall be done with the likes of them of yore. Verily they have been in doubt perplexing. 54
