۞ Proclaim, “I advise you just one thing; that stand up for Allah's sake, in twos and ones, and then think”; there is not a trace of insanity in this companion of yours; he is not but a Herald of Warning for you, before the advent of a severe punishment! 46 Say, "If I have asked you for any recompense, you can keep it. It is God alone who will reward me: He is the witness of all things." 47 Say, "My Lord speaks the Truth. He has the knowledge of the unseen". 48 Say: "The Truth has arrived, and Falsehood neither creates anything new, nor restores anything." 49 Say: "If I am astray, I only stray to the loss of my own soul: but if I receive guidance, it is because of the inspiration of my Lord to me: it is He Who hears all things, and is (ever) near." 50 And could you see when they shall become terrified, but (then) there shall be no escape and they shall be seized upon from a near place 51 They will say: "We believe in it." How could they reach it from a place of no return? 52 They had rejected it before, while they indulged in conjectures from far away. 53 And a barrier shall be placed between them and that which they desire, as was done with the likes of them before: surely they are in a disquieting doubt. 54
