1/2 Hizb 45
< random >
۞ Gather together the evildoers, their wives, and that they were worshipping, 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 And stop them, for they must be questioned. 24 What is the matter with you that you do not help each other? 25 In fact, on that day they will be submissive. 26 And some of them will confront the others, 27 "It was you who tried to mislead us from righteousness". 28 [To which] the others will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were bereft of all faith! 29 We had no power over you. You were a rebellious people, 30 and so we became deserving of the Word of our Lord that we shall be made to suffer chastisement. 31 So we led you astray; we ourselves were strayed.” 32 So verily on that Day they all in the torment will be sharers. 33 Verily, thus shall We deal with all who were lost in sin: 34 For when it was said to them: 'There is no god except Allah' they were always proud 35 saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed?' 36 Nay! he has come with the (very) Truth, and he confirms (the Message of) the messengers (before him). 37 Verily, you (pagans of Makkah) are going to taste the painful torment; 38 “And you will not be compensated except for your deeds.” 39 Save single-minded slaves of Allah; 40 [in the hereafter,] theirs shall be a sustenance which they will recognize 41 Fruits. And they will be honoured 42 In gardens of delight, 43 Facing one another on thrones. 44 A bowl shall be made to go round them from water running out of springs, 45 Crystal-white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof), 46 No headiness there shall be therein, nor shall they be therewith inebriated. 47 And besides them will be chaste women, restraining their glances, with big eyes (of wonder and beauty). 48 Like sheltered eggs in a nest. 49 They will turn to each other and ask questions. 50 A speaker from among them shall say: Surely I had a comrade of mine, 51 Who used to say: 'Are you one of those who can testify to the truth? 52 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, are we indeed going to be requited? 53 And he will reply: 'Are you looking down (into Hell)' 54 He looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 He will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell)." 57 Then, are we not to die 58 except for our first death? And shall we suffer no chastisement?'” 59 Most surely this is the mighty achievement. 60 For this the toilers should strive." 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 Verily We! We have made it a temptation for the wrong-doers. 63 It is a tree that grows from the bottom of Hell; 64 The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils: 65 They will eat and fill their bellies with it, 66 Then most surely they shall have after it to drink of a mixture prepared in boiling water. 67 Then to Hell they will surely be returned. 68 They found their fathers erring, 69 Yet they hasten to follow in their footsteps. 70 And indeed before them, most of the former people went astray. 71 And We had sent admonishers to them. 72 Then see how was the end of those warned, 73 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 74
