Hizb 46

And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 When he fled on the laden ship, 140 cast lots, and was among the losers. 141 and the fish swallowed him while he was blaming himself. 142 And had he not been one of those who glorify (Allah) 143 he would certainly have remained in its belly till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 and caused a creeping plant to grow over him [out of the barren soil]. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand, rather they exceeded. 147 And they believed, whrefore We let them enjoy life for a season. 148 So ask them for a pronouncement -- Has thy Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Oh, verily, it is out of their own [inclination to] falsehood that some people assert, 151 Allah has begotten; and most surely they are liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 Will you not then reflect? 155 Or do you have a clear authority? 156 Then bring ye your Book (of authority) if ye be truthful! 157 They assert kinship between Him and the angels. But the angels know that they (the liars) will be arraigned (in Hell). 158 Hallowed be Allah from that which they ascribe to Him. 159 Except His chosen creatures who do not. 160 So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols). 161 shall not be able to tempt anyone away from Allah 162 except him who shall roast in Hell. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 And verily we! we are ranged in ranks. 165 “And indeed we are those who say His purity.” 166 What though they would say, 167 "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples, 168 we would have certainly been sincere servants of God". 169 But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. 170 Our word had already been given before to Our votaries, the apostles, -- 171 That they verily would be made triumphant. 172 and that it is Our host that would certainly triumph. 173 (Muhammad), stay away from them for a while 174 and see them [for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 175 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 176 But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned. 177 So turn away from them for a time 178 And see, for they are going to see. 179 Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him) 180 And peace be unto the sent ones. 181 And all praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds! 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
