O My worshipers, there is no fear for you on this Day, nor will you grieve 68 those who believed in Our revelations and surrendered themselves to Us. 69 Enter Paradise joyfully, both you and your spouses.” 70 Trays of gold and cups will be passed round them, (there will be) therein all that the one's inner-selves could desire, all that the eyes could delight in, and you will abide therein forever. 71 This is the Garden which ye are made to inherit because of what ye used to do. 72 Therein for you will be fruits in plenty, of which you will eat (as you desire). 73 Surely the guilty shall abide in the chastisement of hell. 74 It shall not be abated from them and they shall therein be despairing. 75 And it is not We who will be doing wrong unto them, but it is they who will have wronged themselves. 76 'O Malik' (the angel of Hell) they will call out, 'let your Lord put an end to us' But he will answer: 'Here you shall stay' 77 Verily We have brought the Truth to you: but most of you have a hatred for Truth. 78 Or have they plotted some plan? Then We too are planning. 79 Or do they think We do not hear their secrecies and stealthy consultations? In fact, Our messengers who attend them record everything. 80 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "If the Most Beneficent (Allah) had a son (or children as you pretend), then I am the first of Allah's worshippers [who deny and refute this claim of yours (and the first to believe in Allah Alone and testify that He has no children)]." [Tafsir At-Tabari]. 81 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and the Throne is too glorious to be described in the way they describe Him. 82 Therefore leave them to utter vile speech and to play, until they confront the day which they are promised. 83 And He it is Who in the heaven is Allah, and in the earth Allah. He is the Wise, the Knower. 84 Blessed be He, who holds the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them. He alone has knowledge of the Hour, and to Him will you return. 85 Those they call upon, apart from Him, have no power of intercession, save such as have testified to the truth, and that knowingly. 86 And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, "Allah." So how are they deluded? 87 And by oath of the saying of My Prophet “O my Lord! These people do not accept faith!” 88 yet pardon them, and say, 'Peace!' Soon they will know. 89
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: Vanity (Al-Zukhruf). Sent down in Mecca after Consultation (Al-Shooraa) before Smoke (Al-Dukhaan)
