We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
