The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 by the promised day, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 When they sat by it, 6 And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers. 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 Verily, He it is Who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment in the Hereafter) (or originates the creation of everything, and then repeats it on the Day of Resurrection). 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 the armies of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 Nay; but this is a glorious Qur'an, 21 written on a preserved Tablet. 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
