The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
ALIF LAM MIM. 1 This is the Book; there is no doubt in it. It is a guide for those who are mindful of God, 2 Those who believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them. 3 And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and (in their hearts) have the assurance of the Hereafter. 4 These are guided by their Lord; these surely are the prosperous. 5 Indeed, those who disbelieve - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 6 God has sealed their hearts and hearing and their vision is veiled; a great punishment awaits them. 7
