The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By those [angels] who extract with violence 1 and those that blow gently, 2 And those who glide swimmingly, 3 Then those who are foremost going ahead, 4 and then manage the affairs of the Universe (according to their Lord's commands). 5 On the day when the first trumpet sound blasts 6 What must happen afterwards shall follow it. 7 Hearts that Day will be in agitation; 8 [and] their eyes downcast... 9 They say: "Shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state of life? 10 “When we have become decayed bones?” 11 They say: "Then this returning will be a dead loss." 12 [But,] then, that [Last Hour] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry 13 So they will immediately be in an open plain. 14 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses 15 His Lord called out to him by the sacred valley of Tuwa: 16 That “Go to Firaun he has rebelled.” 17 “Tell him ‘Do you have the inclination to become pure?’ 18 [If so,] then I shall guide thee towards [a cognition of] thy Sustainer, so that [henceforth] thou wilt stand in awe [of Him].'" 19 Then he shewed him the great sign. 20 but he belied and disobeyed, 21 Then he went back hastily. 22 Then gathered he and summoned 23 and proclaimed, "I am your supreme Lord," 24 Thereupon Allah seized him for the chastisement of the World to Come as well as of the present. 25 Verily in this is an instructive warning for whosoever feareth (Allah). 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
