Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
(On the day) when the sun is made to cease shining, 1 when the stars are thrown down, 2 When the mountains vanish (like a mirage); 3 The ten-month pregnant female camels are abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 and when the seas boil over, 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. 8 for what sin she was slain, 9 And when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open; 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped off and taken away from its place; 11 When the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat; 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 So verily, I swear by the planets that recede (i.e. disappear during the day and appear during the night). 15 And by the planets that move swiftly and hide themselves, 16 and the night as it darkly falls, 17 And the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness;- 18 behold, this [divine writ] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 19 of power, given a rank by the Owner of the Throne 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 Your companion is not possessed; 22 he indeed saw the message-bearer on the clear horizon; 23 Neither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen. 24 And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]. 25 Where then are you going? 26 This is certainly the guidance for all (jinn and mankind). 27 To whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight, 28 However, you will not be able to choose anything unless God, Lord of the Universe wills it to be so. 29

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
