The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
