Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the midday brightness 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
