The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the midday brightness 1 and by the calm of night, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
Almighty God's Truth.
