Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
